About me…
For 12 years, I have been proud to serve in the U.S. Army. I was a Human Intelligence (HUMINT) collector platoon sergeant for the last six years, skilled in intelligence gathering with a TS-SCI Security Clearance. Prior to that, I was an active-duty Infantryman with two overseas combat deployments to Afghanistan and Kuwait. From these experiences, I focused on building a collaborative environment and morale and supporting my team with everything from technical training to recognizing mental health issues. I have been recognized for my leadership, technical precision, and ability to learn quickly and work under pressure.
The future... I am now looking to transition into a civilian role as a draftsman and designer, potentially in the healthcare or environmental fields. I have a passion for building things and a deep interest in improving the lives of others. I have built everything that interests me: musical instruments, sailboats, furniture, and wooden artwork; and I was most proud of my time in the military when I was helping my team resolve their personal and technical challenges.
Since returning to civilian life, I have completed a nine-month certification in yacht design, naval architecture, and marine engineering at The Landing School in Arundel, ME, graduating with a 3.85 GPA. I have also been working as a general contractor with extensive knowledge in home remodeling, including electrical, plumbing, tiling, and finish carpentry.
For fun… I like to travel, hike, camp, and sail. I am having the most fun designing and building my projects.
